Today, Brian, Ben and I went to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the trip a lot. Lots of plant-life/cacti to ogle, and some desert wildlife (Pumas, birds, snakes, etc). We skipped the tarantula exhibit, as I do want to be able to sleep for the next 6 months that we are here. The last photo is a beautiful Arizona sunset from our apartment balcony.

Fun new things and Adventures
Ben is now 5 1/2 months old and trying his best to sit up on his own (once placed in a "seated" position.) We work on it every day, and thus far have avoided major head injuries. He is starting to sleep better, though the 2 nights of "crying it out" were pretty tough on Mommy and Daddy...we are not counting our chickens just yet, but things seem to be looking up. He tried his first "sippy cup" this week, and gummed the tip more than anything. Maybe it was al the water running down his face-who knows?
About to fall over Mommy!
What is this cool water toy?
A little vomit with that sit-up?
Pretty big boy now

Excited to get started on our museum tour
Funky looking cactus
Headed into the cave and "Historic Tucson" exhibit
Shindagger (I thought it was a funny name...)
Beautiful cactus
Little hummingbird in his (or her) nest
Big mountain lion in his "habitat" (that we weren't sure was secure enough to hold him)

Deserts are fun for Ben and Daddy!
